Lightning Storm hails from Dutch Quarter in St. Maarten and is popularly referred to as the original Don’t Quit General (D.Q.G.). He transitioned from a promising basketball career to music, branding himself as Archangel Lightning Storm. As a result, he gained a following with his daring lyrics and positive messages. His big break came when he shared stages with artists like Buju Banton and Tarrus Riley, building a strong fan base in St. Maarten before migrating.

Expanding his creative horizons, Lightning Storm co-wrote two children’s books in the Caribbean Vybes Children’s Series,  and is presently donating books to primary schools at home and abroad, to promote youth literacy. You can view the books and video here.
